As reported in various news media around the globe, a group of around 100 icebergs, having broken away from Antarctica, is slowly drifting towards New Zealands South island, only the second time since 1931 they will have been visible from the NZ coast. Wonder what that means to our weather exactly. Is it normal for the ice to chip off like that as it must replace itself or ? Just have to wonder?
